Employer Information Sessions - Spring 2022 (Virtual)

Register to host a VEIS session in 2022 here!  If you're looking to connect with students while they are away from campus, the Employer Information Session (EIS) team will be here to assist you with the logistics of hosting a Virtual Employer Information Session (VEIS).

Here are a few things to know about VEIS:

• Employers can use UWaterloo's virtual platform, Cisco Webex Events or MS Teams to host the session. Employers are also welcome to use their own platform.
• If you choose to host your VEIS using UWaterloo's platform, you will have access to virtual consultation to help you with set up, polling, chat, presenting, data collection options, test calls prior to the session, and in-chat monitoring support during the session.
• Your event will be posted on the WaterlooWorks Employer Information Sessions calendar for all students to see and the session will be promoted on social media.
• There is a cost of $250.00 plus a 4% administration fee for each information session.  This covers the support of your session by the EIS team.
• Please keep in mind that we do not host concurrent sessions (targeting the same student group) for both open and closed sessions.
• Your VEIS should complement your campus recruiting strategy and align with your job postings in WaterlooWorks for undergraduate, co-op and graduating students.  Review our recruiting dates to ensure you submit your job postings by the deadline for students to apply.

Before starting this form, please ensure you have the following information at hand. Should you get logged out or disconnected, the information will not be retained.

• Your name, title, email address, and phone number
• Host organization name and address
• Contact information for the primary presenter, if different from yourself (optional)
• A brief description of the event, which student/alumni groups it is geared towards, and which 'thematic cluster' the event is targeting if applicable
• Details about your event including date, time, and a registration/event link, if applicable
• Credit card information for payment processing (NEW!  We will no longer be processing payment for EIS via invoice.  The total session fee will be charged to the credit card provided up-front.)
